Adblue Tagging

Adblue Tagging

Adblue ( DEF-Diesel Exhaust Fluid, AUS32 or ARLA32 ) is a solution of 32.5% urea and 67.5% deionized water used as a consumable in selective catalytic reduction (SCR) in order to lower NOx concentration in the diesel exhaust emissions from diesel engines.

Adblue consumption is expected to grow substantially in the next decade. However, Adblue sub-quality and unlicensed products have recently become a potential threat to the market. Low quality Adblue is not only harmful for the environment but also creates problems in SCR system/catalyst in the vehicle.

Quantag’s Quantum Tags can be used as Adblue markers and subsequently measured by Adblue Sensors on-line and real time to assure the Adblue quality. Adblue Tagging enables the quality of Adblue to be checked throughout the supply chain.
